This past Labor Day weekend featured the CCR race alongside the local region FCA event at the historic Watkins Glen race track.

I had the pleasure of being there for the track action and gorgeous weather.  I have to personally say that Watkins Glen is definitely  in my top five race tracks.  Nestled in between the scenic rolling hills of New York’s Finger Lakes region, the track felt more like a national park than a race facility.

Universal Autosports was there in full force to support their drivers and everyone had a blast as usual.  Drivers had a plentiful amount of track time and thoroughly enjoyed the undulating track.  I can’t think of a better way to experience such a historic track than behind the wheel of a Ferrari Challenge Car.

Each CCR event I attend leaves me even more impressed with how the series is run and the “bang for the buck” it offers.  I strongly urge anyone who has had the lifelong dream of racing a Ferrari to look into the series and joining the Universal Autosports team.  There is a good reason why everyone in the pits is grinning from ear to ear as they make their way to the grid.
